DOW™ Wire & Cable DFNK-0012 NT

Generic Family: Polyethylene, Low DensitySupplied by: The Dow Chemical Company
DOW™ Wire & Cable DFNK-0012 NT is a masterbatch for use as a nucleating agent in gas injection applications. It is specially designed for easy incorporation into HDPE and LDPE. When used correctly, it allows the formation of small, uniformly distributed cells. The masterbatch is a 2% concentrate of an exothermic chemical blowing agent in a high pressure LDPE base resin. It should be used at 0.5-3% masterbatch concentration.
DFNK-0012 NT contains a stabilizer protecting against thermal oxidation and catalytic degradation by copper.

Applications:
Typical applications include RF cable and CATV drop cable with expansion rates of up to 80 %.
