BYNEL™ 30E905

Generic Family: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate CopolymerSupplied by: The Dow Chemical Company
BYNEL™ Series 3000 resins are anhydride-modified ethylene vinyl acetate polymers. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins.

Composition
  • Low% By Weight Maleic Anhydride
  • Graft levels are defined as:
  • Low < 0.2%; Medium 0.2-0.5%; High 0.5-1.0%; Ultra high > 1.0%

Characteristics / Benefits
  • Physical properties of BYNEL™ 3000 series resins are typical of EVA resins with similar density and melt index values.

Applications
  • BYNEL™ 30E905 is specifically designed to provide high adhesion to both metals and polyolefins when converted into film form and used as a thermal lamination film. It has a low coefficient of friction for easy film handling and provides strong bonds that fail cohesively.
  • BYNEL™ 3000 series resins adhere to a wide variety of materials. They are most often used to adhere to PE, ionomers, EVA and polyamide.
