Amodel® Supreme AE-9950 is a 50% glass-fiber-reinforced, heat-stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) with outstanding dielectric strength at temperature. High thermomechanical performance provides excellent creep resistance. Low moisture absorption is also characteristic of this resin. The Amodel® AE family is specially formulated to work in the modern automotive and electrical & electronics markets, featuring non-corrosive stabilizers for increased performance at temperature. Very high mechanical performance at elevated temperatures, high heat deflection temperature, excellent hydrolytic stability, glycol resistance, and chemical resistance make this material an ideal candidate for metal replacement spanning automotive, aerospace, consumer, and industrial applications.
