Extir® AM 2000 AE
Extir® AM 2000 AE is a white expandable polystyrene with flame retardant properties. The beads have spherical shape and contain pentane as a blowing agent. Extir® AM 2000 AE is used for the production of molded parts with thin walls up to 5 mm. Extir® AM 2000 AE is HBCD-free and does not contain CFCs or HCFCs. The product is not suitable for food contact.
Applications
Extir® AM 2000 AE is mainly used in molded items for building, when flame retardant properties are requested. Typical applications are:
- Floor heating panels
- Decorative ceiling panels
- Industrial packaging
- Lightweight mortars for building insulation
