INEOS Wire & Cable BP28D780 Europe
BP28D780 is a low density polyethylene compound suitable for the thin walled insulation of telephone wires. Benefits and Features: BP28D780 combines good processability at very high extrusion speeds with excellent mechanical properties, a high resistance to copper catalysed thermal oxidation and excellent resistance to petroleum jelly absorption. The combination of these properties in BP28D780 makes it suitable for use as telephone singles insulation in air spaced and filled cables and in environments subject to high temperatures. BP28D780 contains a metal deactivator.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD2000 Europe
BPD2000 is an unstabilised and clean low density polyethylene. Applications BPD2000 is designed for use in Medium voltage (MV) power cables insulation using the Direct Peroxide Injection (DPI) process. For insulation of cables of higher voltage, it is recommended to use our grade BPD2000E, please refer to corresponding datasheet.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD2000E Europe
BPD2000E is an unstabilised and clean low density polyethylene. Applications BPD2000E is designed for use in Medium/High Voltage (MV/HV) power cables insulation using the direct peroxide injection (DPI) process and applications requesting extra cleanliness. Suitability of BPD2000E for insulation of HV cables and voltage limitation depend on experience acquired and validations undergone by the cable manufacturer.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD2070 Europe
BPD 2070 is an unstabilised low density thermoplastic polyethylene. It is designed for use in medium voltage power cable one step silane crosslink insulation. BPD 2070 shows good electrical properties and good cleanliness. Provided suitable antioxidant is added by the user and proper processing conditions are adopted, BPD 2070 can be used as the base resin for a thermoplastic high voltage insulation compound. Adequate filtering might be necessary for this high voltage application.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD2142 Europe
BPD 2142 is an unstabilised low density polyethylene. This material, when compounded with suitable additives, is designed for use in silane crosslinking processes. Its melt flow rate allows it to be processed with the two main silane technologies: Monosil (one-step process) and Sioplas (two-step process). It has been developed for insulation of power cables up to 5 kV.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD2167 Europe
BPD2167 is an unstabilised low density thermoplastic polyethylene. It is designed for use in "Câble de façade" application and one step silane crosslinking insulation. A carefully selected carbon black and additives master batch needs to be added to BPD2167 to reach the final "Cable de Façade" formulation. The best performance in terms of homogeneity, aging and anchorage tests is however obtained with the fully formulated black compound BPD8167, to which only the Silane mixture needs to be added.

LLDPE with enhanced properties for crosslinked low voltage cable insulation Applications BPD3642 is a LLDPE copolymer containing hexene-1 as comonomer which, when compounded with suitable additives, is designed for silane crosslinked LV insulation. BPD3642 can be used in a silane one step crosslinking process (Monosil® for example) and in a silane two step crosslinking process (Sioplas® process). BPD3642 has been developed specifically to provide enhanced crosslinking and extrusion performances, thanks to proprietary process and catalyst and fit for purpose product design. Physical properties of crosslinked compound as cable BPD3642, when grafted in the laboratory with 0.8 % of a suitable silane/peroxide mixture and 0.05 % of a tin condensation catalyst, typically gives the following results on a 1.5 mm² cable after curing 2h in water at 80°C 2. BPD3642 combines an enhanced environmental stress cracking resistance to excellent mechanical properties.

BPD3801 is a polyethylene copolymer containing hexene-1 as the comonomer produced with a metallocene catalyst. BPD3801 represents an interesting balance of properties for Wire & Cable applications. When compounded with suitable additives, is designed for use in silane crosslinking processes (Monosil ® ). It has been developed for LV insulation or jacketing applications. INEOS Wire & Cable BPD4020 Europe
BPD4020 Natural BPD4020 is a natural high density polyethylene grade designed for the extrusion of jackets of power and telecommunication cables. It offers an excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, good low temperature properties, and an excellent extrudability. BPD4020 is stabilised and has excellent ageing properties. However it is not UV stabilised, so for outdoor applications an anti-UV package needs to be added to lead to a complete outdoor weatherability.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD4035 Europe
BPD4035 is a black high density polyethylene compound designed for cable jacketing. It contains 2.3% of a well dispersed carbon black and an antioxidant package leading to a complete outdoor weatherability and excellent ageing properties. BPD4035 is based on a polymer which offers an excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, good low temperature properties, and an excellent extrudability. Benefits & Features - Very good processability - High stress cracking resistance - Excellent quality controlled organoleptic properties - Grade containing a Slip Agent ensuring easy cap application and opening. Applications It is especially suited for applications requiring excellent stress cracking resistance and enhanced processability. BPD4720 is formulated with an antioxidant package that delivers excellent ageing properties. However, it does not contain light stabilizer, and an anti-UV additive package needs to be added to lead to a complete outdoor weatherability. We recommend that you consult your INEOS technical representative for further advice on the use of BPD4720.

BPD 8063 is a low density polyethylene compound having low dielectric loss properties meeting the needs of many coaxial and control cable applications. It contains a non staining antioxidant.
INEOS Wire & Cable BPD8128 Europe
BPD 8128 is a high molecular weight low density polyethylene compound specially designed for crosslinking with silanes. It is a "non staining" Monosil® product that contains a controlled amount of metal-deactivator and antioxidant to provide the desired copper contact performance. BPD 8128 is widely used by cable manufacturers using a Silane® (one step) crosslinking process. Its major area of application is for the insulation of low voltage power cables.
