Since polylactic acid (PLA) is one of the promising candidates, we have developed a PLA coating agent RESEM W-990 as an easy-to-use emulsion. By applying W-990 to a substrate such as paper or film and heat-treating it, a coating with PLA characteristics is easily finished on its surface. Features - Easy to handle. - Provide excellent heat seal performance. - Suitable for such as food contact paper package, because composed of only biodegradable materials and safe materials. Application Area - Heat seal performance for paper coatings. RESEM PLA emulsions are waterborne coating consistings of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA). The key features are Biodegradable plastic, Biopolymer, Environmetal-frendly coating, food and industrial paper packaging, contribution of circular economy, reduction of waste problems, solvent free, 100% Compostable and heat-sealable agents. This water-based coating is recommended for a wide range of coating applications to develop new products to solve environmental issues.
