ALCUDIA® PE046/A is a low density polyethylene grade, produced by high pressure autoclave technology, suitable for blown or cast film applications. This material offers easy processability, good balance of slip, mechanical and optical properties and excellent draw down. It contains slip and antiblock additives. ALCUDIA® PE071 is a low density polyethylene grade, produced by high pressure autoclave technology, especially intended for extrusion coating. This material offers an adequate balance between easy processability, good organoleptic properties, excellent adhesion and low neck-in. It does not contain any additives. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS - Extrusion coating. - Coextruded thin film. - Injection moulding. The excellent draw down properties of ALCUDIA® PE-071 allow high-speed coatings, up to 850 m/min and 5 g/m² at a maximum extrusion temperature of 330°C. This material has a very low neck-in throughout a wide range of extrusion conditions. Recommended melt temperature range for extrusion coating from 275 to 330°C. Temperature range for coextrusion depending on the processed polymers. Processing conditions should be optimised for each production line.

ALCUDIA® TR-135 natural compound is an hexene copolymer of high molecular weight especially apt for the extrusion of pipe. Because other good mechanical properties and their characteristics, the polyethylene natural compound ALCUDIA® TR-135, is designed to produce pipe. It has the antioxidant package enough for the extrusion process. This product is supplied in natural colour but they can be easily coloured with pigments steady at processing temperature, using dry-colouring or masterbatch techniques. ALCUDIA® TR-135 is a medium density polyethylene grade, high molecular weight hexene copolymer, especially intended for film extrusion. This material offers easy processability into films with excellent mechanical properties, good sealing characteristics and high stress crack resistance. It contains antioxidant additives. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS - Carrier bags. - Refuse sacks. - Waterproof sheets. Recommended melt temperature range from 190 to 220°C. Processing conditions should be optimised for each production line.
