High molecular weight polystyrene Application: BOPS film, extruded foam articles (egg boxes, food trays, etc.)

High impact general purpose polystyrene with low melt-flow index, high molecular weight and improved strength properties. Obtained in the process of block polymerization of styrene the product is intended for extruded foam applications and manufacture of BOPS film.

HIPS with balanced physical properties. Application: manufacture of collectors’ scale models, toys, dishware and containers requiring for stability of cycles, with thin-wall parts and complex gates. Featuring natural whiteness, which gives brightness and reproducibility of colours, the product is used as a color base to prepare dye concentrates for plastics coloration.

Application: foam extrusion; manufacture of foamed films and laminates. The product is used in cases when GPPS requires some impact strength without excellent transparency (e.g. an envelope with a transparent window); as a modifier for oriented polystyrene sheets.

The product gives surface gloss to co-extruded sheets. Fits for deep thermal moulding, features excellent distribution along the side walls. As requested by customers, PS 945E may be cyclopentane resistant.

Special grade general purpose polystyrene features high molecular weight, high content of mineral oil (plasticizing agent), and lower content of residual styrene. Application: injection molding and co-extrusion; manufacture of food contact articles, coatings and others.

Featuring matt surface and excellent wetting tension, this special high-impact PS is intended for manufacture of offset printing plates.

Application: extrusion and thermal molding. Excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking allows use of 975E PS to manufacture packaging for high-fat milk products. Featuring matt surface, 975E PS finds use in profile sheet applications.
