Borcoat HE3450 is a bimodal, high density polyethylene compound and is coloured black Borcoat HE3450 contains finely dispersed carbon black that helps to impart excellent weathering properties. Applications Borcoat HE3450 is recommended as a top coat for a three layer PE system used in: - Steel Pipe Coating Borcoat HE3450 is produced using advanced Borstar® technology that provides the material with good melt strength and extrudability, as well as superior mechanical properties at both low and high design temperatures and very good ESCR. Specifications Borcoat HE3450 is intended to fulfil following National and International standards, when appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are applied and a continuous quality system is implemented and when used in combination with Borcoat TM ME0420 or Borcoat TM ME0433 and a compatible powder epoxy. - CAN/CSA-Z245.21 - DIN 30670 - ISO 21809-1 - Gazprom 2-2.3-130-2007 - NF A49-710 Special Features Borcoat HE3450 is suitable for severe lay conditions at low or elevated ambient temperatures. High processing speeds and a reduction in layer thickness may be possible under certain conditions. Borcoat HE3450 is intended for design temperature from -45 to +80 °C.

Borcoat HE3453 is a bimodal, high density polyethylene compound and is supplied unpigmented. Borcoat HE3453 is supplied with a specifically designed UV and thermal stabilisation package. The addition of a suitable colour masterbatch is required prior to extrusion Applications Borcoat HE3453 is recommended as a top coat for a three layer PE system used in: Steel Pipe Coating Borcoat HE3453 is produced using advanced Borstar® technology that provides the material with good melt strength and extrudability, as well as superior mechanical properties at both low and high temperatures and very good ESCR. Specifications Borcoat HE3453 is intended to fulfil following National and International standards, when appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are applied and a continuous quality system is implemented and when used in combination with Borcoat ME0420 or Borcoat ME0433 and a compatible powder epoxy. - NF A49-710 - CAN/CSA-Z245.21 - DIN 30670S - ISO 21809-1 Special Features Borcoat HE3453 is suitable for severe lay conditions at low or elevated ambient temperatures. High processing speeds and a reduction in layer thickness may be possible under certain conditions. Operating temperatures up to 80°C are possible when used in a correctly composed and applied system.

Borcoat ME3000FC is a maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene compound. It includes a combination of pigments and stabilisers to ensure long-term thermal stability. The product is supplied as pellets for melt extrusion. The product is coloured yellow. Applications Borcoat ME3000FC is recommended for melt extrusion of field joint coatings, repair patches and for hot applied tapes/sheets on buried or submerged pipelines. Steel Pipe Coating Specifications Borcoat ME3000FC is intended to fulfil the following international standard: - ISO 21809-3, FJC type 5E Special Features Borcoat ME3000FC is a reactive top coat polyethylene compound that can be hot applied directly onto an epoxy pre-coated pipe or as a hot applied tape/sheet together with the powder adhesive Borcoat TM ME0433 .
