Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) by AKelastomers

Product Availability Product Description
Tuftec™ N504 Asia Pacific
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ N504 is a high-molecular-weight grade, which is used as an impact modifier of polyphenylene ether (PPE). TPE compounds are available based on N504 if blending PP, oil and other ingredients.
Tuftec™ P1083 Asia Pacific
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P1083 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer with high resilience. It is particularly used as a modifier to yield high resilience to foam made from EVA or TPO for shoe mid soles.
Tuftec™ P1500 Asia Pacific
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P1500 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer. It is good as a base polymer for pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA). It has excellent compatibility with a variety of tackifiers. With blending tackifier and white oil, it provides solvent-borne as well as hot-melt adhesives. It is particularly suitable for hot-melt adhesive with low viscosity and good thermal stability. Applications: Primarily for low-viscosity hot-melt adhesives, e.g. hot-melt adhesives for sanitary goods. Superior to SBS in thermal stability. Reduced viscosity variance and discoloration. Compatible with full range of tackifiers, enabling broader range and freedom in selection of co-components and formulations than SBS or SEBS.
Tuftec™ P2000 Asia Pacific
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P2000 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer. It is suitable as a compatibilizer of PS and PP blends. Applications: Primarily for compatibilization between styrenic and olefinic polymers. Properties highly advantageous for food container applications, e.g. microwave food trays, portioned food containers, lunchbox laminated films.
Tuftec™ P5051 Asia Pacific
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P5051 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer. It is used as a compatibilizer of PS and PP blends or as an impact modifier of GPPS, HIPS and PPE. Applications: Primarily for compatibilization between styrenic and olefinic polymers. Properties highly advantageous for food container applications, e.g. microwave food trays, portioned food containers, lunchbox laminated films.
