Detectaseal® XS7H América do Norte
Detectaseal® is the latest advance in contamination detection and containment. This unique range of metal detectable elastomer compounds has been developed specifically to meet the stringent demands of the pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Detectaseal® fragments as small as 2-3mm can be easily identified by in-line metal detection equipment used to detect product contaminated by process lines. The Detectaseal® range includes Nitrile, EPDM, Silicone and Fluoropolymer (FKM) elastomer compounds (all FDA-compliant) available in blue and black, which allows the most appropriate material to be selected for every application. Detectaseal® compounds can be moulded into O-rings and custom components. Key Attributes - Early detection and containment of contamination: Reduced product loss, Increased productivity - Blue seals to assist in easy identification - Excellent mechanical properties and sealing efficiency - Exceptional oil and heat resistance - FDA-compliant (CFR21.177.2600 paragraphs A - F) - USP Class VI approved to Suffix 88 121°C - Free from animal-derived ingredients (ADI) Typical Applications - Static sealing applications - Food processing and bakery equipment - Pharmaceutical drug manufacturing equipment - Bioscience equipment
Precision Polymer S40H América do Norte
Silicone Rubber, 35-45 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Formulated using only those ingredients determined by the United States Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR21), Section 177.2600. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
Precision Polymer S50T América do Norte
Translucent Silicone Rubber, 45-55 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals, (the low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing).
Precision Polymer S60H América do Norte
White Silicone Rubber, 56-65 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Formulated using only those ingredients determined by the United States Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Water and n-Hexane extraction tested in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 (CFR21), Section 177.2600. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
Precision Polymer S60R América do Norte
Red Silicone 55-65. Diesel cylinder liner ring grade. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility combined with low compression set performance. Used primarily for diesel cylinder liner O-Rings (coolant sealing). Although silicone will swell in petroleum lubricants, this is not necessarily detrimental in static sealing applications.
Precision Polymer S70F América do Norte
Low Compression Set, Red Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Compounded in accordance with FDA requirements. Low compression set grade, offering excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals, low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
Precision Polymer S70H América do Norte
White Silicone Rubber, 68-78 °IRHD. Also complies with the requirements of USP 29, NF 24 2006: <87> Biological Reactivity Test ‘in vitro' and USP 26, NF 21, 2003: <88> Biological Reactivity Tests ‘in vivo' Class VI. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
Precision Polymer S70R América do Norte
Red Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ. Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
Precision Polymer S71U América do Norte
S71U is a high transparency grade of silicone rubber intended for use in food, dairy, brewing, potable water, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. Platinum-cured silicone is odourless, tasteless and non toxic. Seals made from S71U are resistant to repeated sterilising, autoclaving and cleaning agents commonly used in these industries. Unlike traditional peroxide-cure methods, platinum curing results in a smooth contact surface finish and a high degree of purity. No residue substances such as benzoic acid, peroxides, ketones are produced during manufacturing, which can be transferred from the seal to critical hygienic products. Key Attributes - Compliant with FDA FDA CFR210177.2600 for use with dry, aqueous and fatty food stuffs. - Conforms to USP class VI suffix 87 and 88, Biological Reactivity tests. - Good mechanical and physical properties - Chemically stable over a temperature range of -60°C to +200°C. - Withstands sterilizing and autoclaving procedures - Free from Animal Derived Ingredients (ADI) Typical Applications - Food processing and packaging equipment - Pharmaceutical and biomedical apparatus - Hygienic seals in dairy equipment - Potable and high-purity water applications
Precision Polymer S75T América do Norte
Translucent Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Silicone compound in conformity with USP class VI. Formulated using only those ingredients authorised by BGA XVA and FDA CFR21 Section 177.2600. Extraction tested. Also complies to the requirements of USP VI, NF20, 2002. Excellent mechanical, physical and chemical stability over the temperature range of -40° to +180°C. Excellent behaviour when sterilised.
