Veradel® 3300 PREM Africa & Middle East
Veradel® 3300 Prem is a medium melt flow general purpose amorphous PESU resin for injection molding. This transparent grade offers high heat deflection temperature, excellent toughness and dimensional stability and resistance to mineral acids. Other desirable properties include thermal stability, creep resistance and inherent flame resistance. Veradel® 3300 Prem is FDA compliant and is approved for direct food contact. This grade was formerly marketed as Gafone™ PESU.
Veradel® 3300 SL30 Africa & Middle East
Veradel® 3300 SL30 is a polyethersulfone (PESU) compound designed to provide a balance of excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance and low coefficient of friction in both dry and externally lubricated applications. The resin is formulated with a ternary anti-friction/anti-wear additive system comprised of carbon fiber, graphite, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Veradel® PESU is produced to the highest industry standards and is characterized by a distinct combination of properties, which include excellent wear resistance, ease of melt processing, high purity, and excellent chemical resistance. These properties make it well-suited for applications in transportation, electronics, chemical processing, and industrial uses. The resin is black in color in its natural state.
Veradel® 3320GF Africa & Middle East
Veradel® 3320GF is a 20% glass fiber reinforced grade of polyethersulfone (PESU). Adding glass fiber to polyethersulfone substantially increases the rigidity, tensile strength, creep resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance of the material, while maintaining most of its other basic characteristics. The combination of structural properties and cost effectiveness make this resin an attractive alternative to metals in many engineering applications. Veradel® 3320GF is an opaque, grayish material in its natural form and can be readily colored. This grade was formerly marketed as Gafone™ PESU.
Veradel® 3330GF Africa & Middle East
Veradel® 3330GF is a 30% glass fiber reinforced grade of polyethersulfone (PESU). Adding glass fiber to polyethersulfone substantially increases the rigidity, tensile strength, creep resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance of the material, while maintaining most of its other basic characteristics. The combination of structural properties and cost effectiveness make this resin an attractive alternative to metals in many engineering applications. Veradel® 3000P, 3100P, 3200P, 3400P and 3600P are polyethersulfone (PESU) powders for dissolving or dispersing into solutions. They can also be ground to smaller particle size or blended with other solid particles. The grades differ by their molecular weights, with 3000P the highest and 3600P the lowest. There is a direct correlation between molecular weight and solution viscosity. PESU offers excellent toughness and outstanding hydrolytic resistance. It resists attack from steam, boiling water, and mineral acids. Cast films or coatings of PESU are transparent and have additional desirable properties including long term thermal stability, excellent metal adhesion and formability and inherent flame resistance. Veradel® 3600RP hydroxyl-functionalized polyethersulfone (r-PESU) is an amorphous, high-temperature sulfone polymer featuring reactive end groups to enhance solubility for dissolving or dispersing into solutions and to improve adhesion to substrates when used as a coating. Veradel® 3600RP r-PESU offers excellent toughness and outstanding hydrolytic resistance. It resists attack from steam, boiling water and mineral acids. Cast films or coatings of r-PESU are transparent and have additional desirable properties, including long term thermal stability, excellent metal adhesion and formability and inherent flame resistance. Veradel® r-PESU polymers are available in two molecular weight regimes. Veradel® 3000RP is a high molecular weight sulfone polymer with a relatively low level of functionality while Veradel® 3600RP has a lower molecular weight sulfone polymer (approximately half the molecular weight of the Veradel® 3000RP) with roughly 3-5 times higher level of functionality. The differences in molecular weight results in highly varied levels of viscosity, when measured under similar conditions. Typical applications include high-temperature coating formulations and specialty adhesives. All Veradel® r-PESU polymers are produced at Syensqo's state-of-the-art, world-scale facility in Panoli, India under ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified quality management systems.
