Capran® 524 North America
Capran ® 524 is a blue-green tinted, heat-stabilized blown film produced from modified nylon resin. It is recommended as a bagging film for advanced composite fabrication and other high-temperature applications where softness and workability are essential. Capran ® 524 film has excellent heat stability and resistance to pin-holing, and is available in sheet, tube and V-sheet in widths ranging from 48" to 80".
Capran® HS Red North America
Capran ® HS Red is a red tinted, heat-stabilized blown film produced from low lactam nylon 6 resin. Aegis ® PIR-H120ZP resin from AdvanSix contains 100% post-industrial recycled (PIR) raw materials 1 while providing the same top performance and processability as Aegis ® H120ZP, its standard, non-recycled counterpart. Aegis ® PIR-H120ZP is a high viscosity, nylon 6 extrusion grade homopolymer for cast or blown film applications. It conforms to FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1500 as well as EU Directive 2011/10/EC. Aegis ® PIR-H120ZP homopolymer possesses the combination of strength, toughness and thermoforming properties associated with nylon 6 as well as excellent heat, chemical and abrasion resistance.

It is recommended as a bagging film for advanced composite fabrication where flexibility under adverse atmospheric conditions is essential. It requires fewer pleats than conventional bagging films and has better flex crack resistance. Elastomax™ 1000 film is available in sheet, tube and V-sheet in widths ranging from 48" to 80".
OxyShield® 2545 North America
OxyShield ® 2545 is a 1.0 mil (25 micron) biaxially oriented nylon 6 film coated on one side with PVdC. The coating is applied without the need for a primer layer, offering superior coating adhesion and laminating adhesion to other films. Medium oxygen and moisture vapor barrier in addition to superior clarity, make it well-suited for packaging applications requiring excellent mechanical strength and long shelf life.
OxyShield® OEB 1500 (2ST) North America
OxyShield ® OEB 1500 (2ST) is a 0.59 mil (15 micron) biaxially oriented nylon 6 film with corona treatment on both sides of the reel. EVOH is incorporated in the core layer to provide extra barrier to oxygen. OxyShield ® OEB 1500 (2ST) features a superior balance of properties, including very high barrier to both oxygen and aromas, excellent toughness and puncture resistance under both high and low temperatures, exceptional flex crack resistance and optics. OxyShield ® OEB 1500 (2ST) is particularly recommended for packaging requiring very high oxygen barrier OTR <2 cc/m 2 /24 hours, such as dairy products and meats in modified atmosphere packages.

OxyShield ® OMB 1200 features a superior balance of properties, including high barrier to both oxygen and aromas, excellent toughness and puncture resistance under both high and low temperatures, exceptional flex crack resistance and optics. OxyShield ® OMB 1200 is particularly recommended for packaging requiring high oxygen barrier OTR <5 cc/m 2 /24 hours, such as ‘doy pack’ for mayonnaises, containers for seafood, dairy products, processed meats and pastas.
