Product Description
ALKAMIX UHSMB is a combined slip and antiblock masterbatch based on a low density polyethylene carrier. It is formulated with slip additive (Erucamide) at a concentration of 1.6 percent and antiblock additive at a concentration of 9 percent.

ALKAMIX MBUHSMB can be added to low dnsity polyethylene (LDPE) or linear low density polyethylene during extrusion to reduce film blocking and coefficient of friction. The level required will vary according to desired properties and presence of any other additives, however the recommended addition level is 2% to LDPE and 5% to LLPDE.

The maximum level of addition of UHSMB based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 12.5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.
