Product Description
ALKAMIX MB6005 is a combined slip and antiblock masterbatch based on a linear low density polyethylene carrier. It is formulated with slip additive (Erucamide) at a concentration of 8 percent and antiblock additive at a concentration of 25 percent.

ALKAMIX MB6005 can be added to linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) during extrusion to reduce film blocking and coefficient of friction. The level required will vary according to desired properties and presence of any other additives, however the recommended addition level is between 1 and 2 percent.

The maximum level of addition of MB6005 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 2.5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.
