Product Description
ASTALON™ MTC5505 is a high strength impact modified alloy of Polycarbonate (PC) and PolyEthylene Terephthalate (PET) which has been designed for use in injection moulded automotive applications. ASTALON™ MTC5505 features an excellent impact strength over a wide range of temperatures with high chemical resistance and an excellent balance of strength, processability, heat resistance and rigidity. Typical automotive applications are functional components such as exterior and interior doorhandle assemblies and bumper bracket supports.

Note: The last letter U indicates additional UV stabilisation has been added [ ie: ASTALON™ MTC5505U].
